Tropical / Arctic Gas Cape in PouchA very nice original example of the tropical arctic gas cape in the original tropical gas cape pouch. This cape was tan on one side for the sand and white on the other for snow. It is dated March of 44. The markings are a bit interesting as this is without a doubt the tropical arctic cape, but the markings omit the tropic bit. Perhaps by this point, it was only important to indicate arctic because of the white side as most equipment by then was tan
