I have a C10 and Ran the cable from the negative terminal into the cab to a 12-volt kill switch and then back out of the cab to a ground on the frame. This Solenoid is an adequate OEM replacement, at an incredible, low price.

This solenoid replaced a bad 350 Chev. Mercruiser starter Solenoid. It works perfectly with only a minor, simple modification of the mounting bracket . (Hole centers were slightly off needing only 1 new hole drilled on the engine bracket only. A very easy mod.) The Solenoid body itself is an exact match for the OEM and works flawlessly at a price that is literally 10 times less than what the Manufacturer charges.
