Very helpful for students, clinicians, and researchers. Great information on understanding domestic violence from a systemic perspective. Excellent outline and explanation of the treatment model and how to implement it with couples and in group formats. State of the art manual on a solution-focused form of multi-couple couples therapy for intimate partner violence. Excellent presentation of the rationale and the underlying theory behind the approach. I particularly like the presentation of the first six sessions. However, I did not endorse this with 5 stars because I believe that the solution-focused approach does not go far enough for some couples and that they need some more structured interventions for managing conflict, such as those presented in Gottman Method Couples Therapy.
