Original German Cable Reel for the Backpack LayerOriginal WWII German Wehrmacht back pack spare cable reel. I did not find any markings on this one, but I believe they are likely hidden under the thick postwar over paint. I had owned a pile of these at one time and none were post war made. This spare reel is in pretty decent condition; these are normally broken or at least bent pretty badly. This one is ready to clip into backpack cable layer although it would be a good idea to strip and repaint it.

This leaves my hands soft and protected but like some other reviewers, I have noticed a difference. Even after shaking the tube, to try to mix the lotion, it was still runny. It came out a little thicker but slid off of my hand. I’m not sure if this is old stock that separated or if the formula just changed from the last time I bought it, but something is different. It also has a different scent than I recall, as well. It’s not unpleasant, just lightly lemon-y, but it is different from what I remember. The consistency and the scent are both different but it doesn’t seem to affect the efficacy.
