It is reported that the roots have been used in Asia to combat dysentery. The attractive seed heads are frequently used by florists. My dog has played with this pickle for a long time. Very durable. Has teeth marks but she is unable to tear it apart. Be careful where your dog leaves it because it easily rolls. My husband can attest to that. He stepped on it, it rolled and landed on the ground. When asked what happened to his leg he replies "I slipped on a Pickle".
