Daphne odora 'Rogalski', 1LA perfect compact Daphne for smaller gardens, this slow growing, bushy, evergreen shrub with glossy foliage is notable for its highly fragrant flowers. In early spring its clusters of pink buds produce pretty, almost exotic looking pale pink flowers, bearing a marvellous scent, which enliven the border. Its foliage is edged with creamy yellow, awarding the plant interest even when not in flower.

I can't write a meaningful review of the content of this book, because I don't begin to understand it, however, it was one of the things my grandson requested for his 22nd birthday, and he seemed thrilled to get it and he tells me it's a great book, so I can say whole heartedly, this is a terrific birthday gift for anyone who's into computer games.

More Theory than Actionable Advice on Game Design

Not a bad book, but not what I expected going in. I read this for a bookclub like event on twitch. I thought there was going to be actionable advice. Like 'do X to make Y feel". The introduction points out that the book is not about the emotional feelings a player receives from games, and this is true. The book DOES provide a language for discussing game design at a more academic level. It is about the theory of how a game feels, and while I didn't agree with everything Steve wrote it was easy enough to follow the thoughts.
