Mortar & Pestle SetsThese Mortar and Pestle Sets are made of resistant porcelain. They are economical for grinding, pulverizing and homogenizing bulk sample material. Sold as a set (mortar and pestle) only. Available in 125 and 300mL versions with a convenient pour spout. 125mL mortar is approximately 9. 5 x 5cm (3. 7 x 2"), pestle is 9. 5cm (3. 7"). 300mL mortar is approximately 12. 5 x 7cm (4. 9 x 2. 8"), pestle is 14cm (5. 5").

Good finish, poor hardware.
Set screws are poor quality and are sometimes powdercoated on the exposed threads. Leads to striped hex sockets and inability to tighten properly.
Durable finish as evidenced by no visible damage after throwing parts across the shop in frustration.
Ended up running self tapping screws thru parts to complete assembly.
