BSA Bottom Bracket for SRAM GXP RoadThe BSA, or English threaded, bottom bracket is a traditional shell size. It has an inner diameter of 34mm and is 68mm wide. These cups thread into the BSA shell making it possible to install SRAM and Quarq 24 22mm spindle cranks. The CeramicSpeed kit comes with bearings pressed into threaded cups, which are then threaded into the frame. Those bearings consist of either CeramicSpeed Standard or Coated Bearings. On the positive side, it does appear to be well made. The stitching is clean, the fit is decent, and overall construction seems solid for the price. However, the material is extremely thin much thinner than expected. It’s so lightweight that it is see-through. Both the jacket and pants are unlined, which makes the suit feel even lighter and less structured. I While I understand seersucker is meant to be breathable and comfortable this isnt even seersucker it is a striped polyester blend material. It may work in very hot climates but if you’re looking for something with more structure or durability, this is not the best option. The fabric feels about as thick as a paper towel. Overall, decent construction, but the thinness and lack of a defined shape and lining are disappointing and makes it almost impossible to wear.
