Antique Silver Brooch set with Terrier IntaglioA beautiful Essex crystal dog brooch. The wonderful silver setting contains a beautiful Essex crystal intaglio. Estimated to be Victorian in age. 34mm in diameter. The dog is believed to be a Welsh Terrier. The brooch has ornate silver work surrounding the crystal. Essex crystals are created by reverse carving an image into a crystal and then finely painting the crystal. The crystal is then backed to create a 3D effect. Condition: Minor surface
